Project Statement 

The Project allowed me to experience a new health and sustainable material which I can explore and evelop in different forms. The materials have many potential for me to explore and discover. Also,it is non-toxic and sustainable to both humans and the environment.

Through the process of growing the mycelium materials, I was surprised about the speed of grwoing the mycelium and the process is easy and conbenient. After successfully growing the mycelium, I feel a special sense of accomplishment. I prepared two different molds, one is thicker and the other is thinner. They came a little bit different, one is more softer than another in the middle. Also, I like the rough texture and the light smell of mushroom when I’m using it. I feel like I’m in a natural environment. Overall, I think the experiment was very interesting and I explored how to make different forms out of materials.
