Project Statment
Group project - Ary Minocha, Bar Bendet, Fangwei Zhou
A bulb planter is a farmer tool that helps gardeners plant bulbs. Our user groups are florists and gardeners that plant massively. The issues for bulb planters are soil specificities, comfort, and efficiency. For this project, we revised the handle which is comfortable for the user to hold, is strong to use in different kinds of soil, and improved the efficiency of the bulb planter. Through model-making, interviews, and user testing, we ended up with a bulb planter with two handles that elevated strength, comfortable to use, and easier to dig the soil out from the ground.
