During this exploration, I came across shadowgraphy—an art form that uses shadows to tell stories without words. It resonated with me deeply, as it connects with many people through shared childhood memories. The pattern is based on a top-down view of the urban village, with visible building numbers included to assist with navigation. I love the textile, various&nbsp; colors, and patterns of the tiles they've used for the building. It was stunning while looking at them, so I delved into it. Not only for the architecture, but also for better understanding of the local habitat for Spanish people, I had done research for the food and tableware they had used for it. I made my menu to be folded, so when people opened up they were able to see everything in one page. I had made paper models for my three ideas. By doing sketches, material testing and light exploration. I narrow down my direction to one which is bamboo. Rather than come up with ideas and sketches, I choose to explore the material first. I brought different types and sizes of bamboo. There are wide, narrow and different thickness bamboo strips. Later, I began my research on bamboo weaving. I found out Youtube has many tutorials by following the instructions that I had made for small samples with bamboo strips. I found out that I was interested in using wire and bamboo stripes to sculpt the form. Through the processes of making, I was inspired by my small samples, so therefore, I tried to make my ideas out in small sizes. Our user groups are florists and gardeners that plant massively. The issues for bulb planters are soil specificities, comfort, and efficiency.&nbsp; For this project, we revised the handle which is comfortable for the user to hold, is strong to use in different kinds of soil, and improved the efficiency of the bulb planter. up of nine commonly used household gadgets and a termal that collects all of them. The gadgets include fan, light, alarm clock, etc. The terminal acts as a cabinet that is hang onto the wall. The nine different gadgets can be stored into the terminal to be organized and charged. When the gadgets are to be used, the user can simply take it out from the terminal. In addition to organizing and charging the gadgets, the terminal also serves ornamental purpose. On the front side of each gadget is a screen that will display part of a pattern. When the gadgets are placed into the terminal, they form the complete pattern. A user can design their custom pattern with an app on their phone. The patteren will be dispaly on the terminal that hangs on the wall like a painting.
